The purpose of this article is to share info about getting lintime.org listed on Google. In this blog post, I’ll time-stamp our progress, highlighting the milestones and setbacks along the way.
Registered lintime.org
Updated Name Servers and checked the progress with dnschecker.org
Added a new site to the server. Next, I installed WordPress and set up the Blocksy theme
Published the index page and planned the presentation of the timelines
Started publishing the first blog posts.
Generated a sitemap on XML Sitemaps.com and submitted it to the Google Search Console.
Published two more blog posts, added the Software page and submitted a new sitemap.
Major Event
Added Learn to the menu to publish free online courses for new Linux users.
Submitted a new sitemap. No Google indexing yet.
Started publishing the first course “I Can Program” and planned the curriculum.
Created a “Friends” page to the main menu to feature talented content creators.
Wrote additional blog posts and published the first course sessions to introduce new Linux users to programming with Python.
Wrote a new blog post and published two more course modules for the free programming course. Generated a sitemap, uploaded it and checked Google which is not yet listing our website.
First indexed page!
Today, site:lintime.org lists one additional page. Out of 20 pages, 18 are still not listed.
New sitemap. No changes from yesterday.
Total indexed pages: 2 out of 37
As of today, Google is now indexing 3 out of 40 pages.

After fluctuating between 2 and 4 pages, we are back to 6 pages once again.
Finished the free Python Programming course and uploaded a new sitemap.
Total pages 51 of which google shows six that got impressions.
site:lintime.org shows 7 pages
Makes no sense to me why they would list our privacy policy instead of a blog article? Puzzling.
Submitted new sitemap.
8 (of 57) pages indexed.
No changes. site:lintime.org reveals that only eight pages in total have been indexed.
It is not one month since I created the index page and as of toady, Google indexes 10 pages.
According to site:lintime.org
, Google indexes a total of 19 pages.

As of today, August 27, lintime.org is just 16 days old since I started it.

Getting listed on Google takes time, and it’s essential to be patient and persistent. I’ll continue to update this blog post as our journey unfolds, and I’m excited to see when our website will finally be indexed and visible to the world.
